I was recently discussing my blog with one of the regular readers. It was very interesting to get her opinion of my writing, especially because she does not have Aspie kids. Through the discussion, I found that I had a need to tell you all why I write....
so here it goes.
I WRITE:
1) as a way to think through things on paper (or a screen)...kind of like journaling.
2) so that other Aspie parents can have at least ONE positive place for words of encouragement
3) so that I can let the world know how AWESOME Aspie kids can be
4) because I have a need for someone to recognize that my Aspie sons are gifted and gifts...that they have good hearts, good minds, and a purpose here on earth
5) in hope that my musings will help someone along the way.
So there it is. No major insight. I hope that you all gain something from reading this blog.
I REALLY appreciate the positive comments I have gotten.
