FAITH...HALLELUJAH!!!

Faith can be restored when you LEAST expect it...by someone that you do not even know well...

Last night at mass, our middle Aspie son, who is having an extremely difficult time right now, was asked to help "in the back." The gentle soul who offered this to us said to my husband and myself that he has a "special" nephew and that he could handle it.
So....what did we do....we had faith....and let go...
Now, most times like this what happens is that the well-meaning person intends to be understanding...and then something happens and the dream is over.
So what happened last night?
My Aspie son used the baskets to help take up the collection!
AND HE DIDN'T EVEN HIT ANYONE IN THE HEAD WITH THEM!!!!
My Aspie son ushered during Communion!
AND, although he was motioning for the people of each pew to get up, HE DID JUST FINE!!!

THANK YOU FOR HAVING FAITH IN MY SON!!!
YOUR KINDNESS HAS RESTORED A BIT OF MY FAITH IN RETURN!!!
