I made an AMAZING discovery this weekend....
MY SONS ARE X-MEN!!!!!
No...really....think about it....
The X-Men were people with extraordinary gifts. Some had physical deformities that meant they could do things others could not (i.e. fly, throw fire, start a storm)...some behaved differently so that they could manipulate physics....and some HAD AMAZING BRAIN-POWER SO THAT THEY THOUGHT DIFFERENTLY THAN THE REST OF THE WORLD....to make the world a better place. A better place....that is a choice that every X-Men character has to make...to use their gifts to make the world a better place or to hide their gifts so that they are not seen as being different.....or further yet, to use the gifts given to create a hostile world for those who ARE different...

And there IS a place for Autistic and Asperger kids! They are GIFTED and CAN make the world a better place....below is a link to one such inspiring story. I urge you to watch the reaction of the crowd witnessing this kids accomplishments....their reactions show me that this kid HAS changed the lives of those around him....for the better.
